How do I become a Member of the Salmon Arm Golf Club Society? To become a member of the Salmon Arm Golf Club Society, you must be a Society Shareholder. The Salmon Arm Golf Club is currently selling Society Shares and has limited availability for playing spots. Please click here for an informational booklet.
Society Share A Society Share Purchase is currently made up of the following fees: Society Share $ 800.00
Administration Fee $ 3700.00
Total Society Membership: $ 4500.00 +tax

24-month Payment Plan
Using pre-authorized payments, your bank account or credit card is charged monthly, for 24 months, in the amount of $196.75+tax. This payment plan includes a $222.00 finance charge which is a part of the monthly payment. Payments received are non-refundable. Option 3:
5-year Payment Plan - (unavailable if the dues paying member limit of 525 is reached)
The Society Share cost is divided into five (5) equal payments, which must be paid together with the regular annual Championship Golf Course dues, each of the five consecutive years. An individual may opt to pay the share out at any time, however regular payment plan and dues payments are required on or before April 1st each year, while on the plan. Share certificates will be issued following the final payment of a plan.

Waive Administration Fee for Society Share Purchase. Eligible applicants have the option to:
Purchase a Society Share for $800.
Become eligible for golf dues plus a 12% surcharge for as long as you own the share + tax.
Must purchase golf dues in the current and next year when Society Share is purchased.
Share issued upon paying 2nd year’s dues.
Shares purchased after November 1st, pay dues for following year.
Champions DuesActive Champions MembershipThere are 525 playing spaces on the Champions Course. Those SocietyMembers who have purchased playing dues the previous calendar year are given the first opportunity to purchase one of the openings available in the current calendar year. To remain eligible for a dues paying spot, a member must provide payment of annual dues by April 1st of each season. Heritage Course and Annual Play PassesHeritage Course and Annual Play Passes are available at the Salmon Arm Golf Club. Purchase of a Society Share is not necessary in order to play the Heritage Course. Society Shareholders however receive reduced yearly Heritage Course dues. Junior Dues Junior Membership Anyone under the age of nineteen years as of the 1st day of September of the current calendar year is eligible for Junior Membership on the Champions or Heritage Courses. Click here for the 2013 Junior Membership Fees Form University Membership A Junior member who has attained the age of nineteen years as of September 1st of the current year, who is in full time attendance at a post-secondary institution, and who has been a Junior Member of the Club for three of the last five years, may have his or her Junior status extended for up to four years. Intermediate MembershipThis category is available to any student over the age of 19 years, and under the age of 25 years as of the 1st day of September of the then current year, and who is in full time attendance at a post-secondary educational institution, and who does not qualify for Junior status.

Referral Fee for Attracting New Society Members
Members receive a $250 Gift Card if they refer a person who becomes a Society Shareholder.
The Gift Card can be used for products and services at Salmon Arm Golf Club (not for golf dues or entry fees).
Referring Member must sign new candidate’s share purchase form in order to receive the gift card.Society Share TransfersSociety Shares are transferable only within immediate family. Immediate family is limited to children, grand-children, parents, or spouses of the current Society Member. A transfer fee of 10% of the total membership cost in the year of the transfer is applicable, plus tax. Society Share RedemptionA Society Share may be redeemed upon written request to the Club. The current redemption value of a share is a combination of the $700.00 Share amount and the Water Assessment originally paid, to a maximum of $800.00. Redemption is subject to the sale of a new Share or approval of the Board of Directors. Share Certificates for redemption must be returned to the Club or a disclaimer signed. Ownership of a Society Share entitles the purchaser to all privileges of the Society, including: voting rights at Society meetings and the option to purchase playing dues, if available. Society Shares are non-interest bearing. Redemption options can be found by logging on to the Member section of the website under the Policies Tab or by calling the Administration Office.
